Bad, Bad, Billboard Company – More illegal activity

Clear Channel Outdoor, the operators of the P St billboards, broke even more laws on their most recent visit to the lot.

#1: Parking in a Bus Zone

#2: Public Urination

#3: Maintaining a billboard without a permit

Not to mention aggressive behavior towards this blogger when I took their photos.

Several buses went buy, but could not access bus zone because of the illegally parked vehicle.
This Clear Channel worker is urinating behind the billboard.
We were told at the last hearing that maintenance cannot happen without a permit. Here they are painting around the frame. And it wasn't to cover up the graffiti. The City had already taken care of that.

  1. I guess this really speaks to what a billboard does to a neighborhood. The people who work and install them know that once the marketing companies have placed their stake in the ground the land is essentially a public toilet. This is totally unacceptable behavior on our streets. How do we contact those representing Clearchannel in court to assure they have knowledge about how upset this community is with their behavior. Can fines be assessed for this behavior?
