Some kids have been going around the neighborhood asking for funds for a band trip. Please see this note from Dunbar’s principal:
Dunbar does not have a band. The person soliciting funds from people is an impostor and should be reported to the police.
The band instructor was let go before I got to Dunbar by the Friends of Bedford last year. We are not collecting any money for the Dunbar Marching Band.

That is too bad they don’t have a marching band any more, they were really good. i loved when they would practice throught the neighorhood.
I know Principal Jackson has said Dunbar High has no marching band. I think Dunbar does have a drumline. A kid came by my house yesterday and asked for donations for a trip and invited me to see their drumline practice Tues and Thurs evenings. Can Principal Jackson confirm please?
