AMERICA’S NIGHT OUT
AGAINST CRIME
Join Chief Lanier, Mayor Fenty, dignitaries and the community at large during National Night Out’s kick off party celebration in Ward 5. There will be activities for children and a variety of entertainment. Children and adults will enjoy seeing first hand a police helicopter, SWAT trucks, police vehicles and other emergency vehicles.

The kickoff will feature a Community Ride on the new Metropolitan Branch Trail with MPD members, a program recognizing community programs that make a difference in public safety, crime prevention information, and a Court Watch workshop.
