So the 47th Anniversary of the March on Washington was celebrated in our own Dunbar High School last weekend. I was proud to see such a historic event being commemorated in our neighborhood. I hope you got a chance to see it. There were throngs of people packed into the football field area. A number of speakers included Mayor Fenty and Al Sharpton and the the rally culminated with a march over to and down 6th street toward the Mall.
