My husband found a young dog with no ID or collar wandering in traffic at 1st and New York Avenue NW a little after 9am Sunday. The dog is well cared for and healthy, and we believe he must belong to someone living nearby. We were able to bring him home and are caring for him for now. We are hoping to locate his owners. Please forward this message to other nearby Listservs if possible. If you think this may be your dog, please contact Michelle at 202. 669. 4308 or Leyland at 301. 613. 6020.

The dog is gray in color, medium sized and quite strong. He seems to understand some commands, but is not terribly well trained.
