Democratic Mayoral Nominee, Vincent Gray and Ward 5 Council Member Harry Thomas hosted a ward 5 Town Hall meeting at CAPS Charter School on First and P ST NW on Tuesday, October 05, 2010. The meeting, scheduled to start at 6:30 pm finally started around 7: 15 pm.
After the usual campaign pep rally tactics, Council Member Thomas introduced Mr. Gray. Mr. Gray took questions from some audience members and responded to them. Though Mr. Gray gave no specifics as to what he would do as Mayor to address the growing number of challenges facing DC residents, he did seem to energize the crowd.
It was fantastic to see the Bates and Hanover Civic Association neighborhood host this town hall meeting.
