LAYC Community Meeting: Thanks

Please see this post from Angie Rogers from LAYC:

Thanks to everyone who came out to the community meeting concerning Cook on Wednesday evening.  It was the type of lively and intense discussion between people who admittedly don’t all agree on everything, but that lays the groundwork for open communication, and hopefully collaboration.  We look forward to more conversations.

In the meantime, if you’ve determined that you are supportive, please sign on to a letter to the District Council to support the proposed redevelopment by YouthBuild Public Charter School and Latin American Youth Center.  Even if you have supported/are supporting the project in other ways, please take a minute to email us at project@jfcookschool.org to let us know if you will sign on.

Not supportive?  Let’s keep talking.  I know from my personal conversations with people and I see from some of the blog traffic that there is still a fair bit of misinformation out there, so if you have concerns, please reach out.
