Dear Bates Area Neighbors,
A few of us are interested in starting a weekly walk around the neighborhood, as a way to get some exercise during the winter months and get to know your fellow neighbors. (You may have seen the flyer at the last BACA meeting.) Our original thought was to meet at the corner of 1st and P Streets NW at 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday and walk a couple of miles. We would like to know how many of you are interested in joining the group and if 6:30 p.m. works for you (or suggest a different time). Please e-mail laurabowen77@gmail.com as soon as possible, if you want to participate.
Based on the level of interest, we will send a follow-up e-mail confirming the days and times and add you to the group e-mail. We realize it’s abnormally cold this December, so if no one is interested at this time, we can try again in the Spring.
