2010 Census Centers of Population

According the 2010 US Census, the center of population for the District of Columbia is 38.910270 North Latitude, -77.014468 West Longitude. The address for this is 222 Bates Street, NW. This means the Bates Street NW is the center of the human-city. Another way to look at it is that you are the closest to everyone else in the District. Since our neighborhood is close to everyone else, perhaps we should have a party here. Or maybe at the Engine Company 12 Fire House. It is just around the corner.
