My apologies to any of you that went to the 5th District Police Department on Monday to observe the Redistricting Committee Meeting. I received notification of the meeting being cancelled late on Monday. The meeting is rescheduled for Thursday, October 6th.
This will be the final Ward 5 Redistricting Committee meeting as the Ward 5 final plan is due to the Office of Planning by October 9th.

Sorry that I could not attend last night’s final ANC 5C redistricting meeting.
I look forward to hearing if the Ward 5 redistricting plan to be presented to the DC Office of Planning sticks with three commissions — 5A, 5B and 5C — or if Ward 5 may get 4 or 5 or 6 commissions.
Moreover, I am eager to see how the single member district (SMD) maps for the current ANC 5C area might look.
