The Gertrude Stein Democratic Club and DC for Democracy are hosting a fundraiser for Kenyan McDuffie, the candidate that both organizations have endorsed for the Ward 5 Council seat. The reception will occur tomorrow, Sunday, May 6 from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Wohlfarth Galleries, 3418 9th Street, NE (one-half block from the Metro Red Line Catholic University station). The Wohlfarth Galleries are owned by Lavinia “Vinnie” Wohlfarth, a lesbian Ward 5 resident and Stein Club member. Attire and contribution of individual choice. Refreshments will be served.

Election Day is on May 15 and early voting is on Saturday, May 5 and Monday, May 7 – Saturday, May 12. Residents can vote early at Turkey Thicket Recreation Center or at One Judiciary Square.
