USPTO to Hold Recruitment Open House May 18-19
The United State Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) will hold a Recruitment Open House Friday, May 18, and Saturday, May 19, in the Madison Building auditorium.
The agency’s goal is to hire 1500 new examiners for fiscal year 2012–preferably individuals with a bachelor’s or advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or mechanical engineering. Applicants must also have effective oral and written communication skills and possess the ability to succeed in a production-oriented environment.
To schedule an interview, register at http://www.usptocareers.gov/jobfair/. The deadline to schedule an interview for the open house is Tuesday, May 15.
