JBG may pair office building with Wal-Mart project at 77 H St. NW

The JBG Cos. is exploring the possibility of pairing its Wal-Mart-anchored
mixed-use development on H Street NW with an office building to be constructed
on an adjacent parcel.
Matthew Le Grant, D.C.`s zoning administrator, noted the concept in an Aug. 24 letter
to Allison Prince, a land use attorney with Goulston & Storrs. The letter
was posted on the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs website this
week.
The land in question, a parking lot fronting H Street, is owned by Gonzaga College
High School. Measuring only 127 feet deep and 260 feet long, the small parcel
is part of the Gonzaga campus, immediately south of the football field.
