S.O.M.E. to renovate 216 NY Ave NW, 28-unit low income apartment building

Washington Business Journal reporter Michael Neibauer likes to report on DCRA permits issued.

Here is a permit issued that he spotted to So Others Might Eat (S.O.M.E.), which has a feeding facility on the unit block of O Street NW.

Only one other permit to report from Wednesday (the District hasn’t yet released its permits for Thursday): So Others Might Eat Inc. was issued a permit to renovate a low-income apartment building, the 28-unit Augusta-Louisa complex, at 216 New York Ave. NW, to include new unit layouts, a new business office, a community room “in attic,” a new elevator and two new stairways. The building is owned by the Northwest Church Family Network Inc.
