Subject: [MPD-5D] 5D Robbery Snatch
On Saturday, February 16, 2013 there was a “Robbery Snatch” at 1426 North Capitol st., NW. (Tiffany’s Mini-Mart), an individual came into the store and snatched approximately $200.00 from the cash register and five 5 Hour Energy drinks and fled the scene.
On Tuesday, March 5, 2013 that individual entered the store again and the complainant called the police, when MPD officers arrived, the suspect quickly walked away before the officers could get the details regarding the call. The suspect fled, however, the officers gave chase and he was apprehended, positively identified by the complainant and arrested for “Robbery Snatch”.
