Our car was broken into on the unit block of P NE last night. We got a knock from the police around 2am and looked out the window to see our car door and trunk open. They stole my husband’s work bag (which was unintentionally left in the trunk of the car) and the cop found it up the street with his computer and ipad missing. Papers were strewn all over the street and in front of our house.
The cop said that another car was also broken into across the street.
Be vigilant, people.

Sorry to hear this. I am amazed the cops knocked on your door to let you know about the break in. I’ve received post break in parking tickets but never notification from the cops.
I’ve been witness to a car break-in before and in that case the officers also tried to notify the owner by knocking on their door.
