If you’ve spent any time at Walker-Jones Education Campus, you’ve seen the urban farm just south of the school. If you’ve been by lately, you’ve noticed the farm is in need of some TLC. While it was recently announced that the farm would be relocated to make way for a housing development, it will remain open through the upcoming growing season. That means the work that we do tomorrow and in the coming weeks will directly benefit the families of Walker-Jones, and the surrounding community.
Can you join us tomorrow to help prepare the farm for the growing season? We’ll be joined by Hands on DC, Walker-Jones school staff, and dozens of community members.
