Arrest Made in 2014 Homicide: 1200 Block of North Capitol St. Northwest
(Washington, DC)- Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch have announced an arrest has been made in a 2014 homicide. On Friday, May 30, 2014, at approximately 9:24 pm, 32 year-old Donta Thrower of Northwest, Washington, DC was shot in the 1200 block of North Capitol Street NW and later died.
On Tuesday, March 10, 2015, 19-year old Abdul Fields was arrested pursuant to a Booking Order and a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, charging him with First Degree Felony Murder While Armed in connection to the death of Donta Thrower.
