On Friday, December 18, 2015 at approx. 01:30 am, Fifth District patrol received a call for a robbery in the200 block Florida Ave NE. Units patrolling within the vicinity were able to quickly respond to the area and stop a suspect . The suspect later was identified and placed under arrest. Case closed due to the quick response and excellent police work by members of the Fifth District. Great work!!

On 12-18-15, at approx. 1:00 am, an Armed Carjacking occurred in the Unit block P Street NW. The complainants were sitting in the vehicle when S1 and S2 approached and brandished a weapon. The complainants were told to exited the vehicle. S1 and S2 drove off in their vehicle.
Lookout: S-1 B/M, 19-25 years, 5’11, 150lbs, Thin build, Lt brown skin, mask, dark hoodie, dark pants
S-2 B/M, 19-23, 5’10, 150lbs, Lt brown, blue jeans, dark hoodie
Vehicle Lookout: 2016 Ford Focus Tan in color Virginia tags VJT3270
The case is being investigated by the Fifth District Detectives.
