On today’s date at approximately 4:30 pm Fifth District officers responded to the 200 Block of New York Ave., NW for the sounds of gunshots. Officers arrived on the scene and located several shell casings. A victim was located at the hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. The injury is non-life threatening.
