Tragedy and Tribute for Tricia McCauley, Bloomingdale resident, yoga instructor, and more

I received a request late last night to post about a search for one of our neighbors, Tricia McCauley, missing since Christmas day, from one of her good friends in the BACA neighborhood.  Unfortunately, I did not see the request until it was too late.  In addition to posts and comments on Facebook and Popville, this post from DC Theater Scene has some information about the suspect and to report any tips for additional information, as well as descriptions of Tricia and scenes from some of her favorite acting roles, per her website.

As noted in Popville, there will be two vigils tonight: “Tricia’s regular weekly yoga class at 5:15pm today is being transformed into a community-led vigil celebrating her life and love that lives on in all of us forever. Please come to Yoga District Bloomingdale (1830 1st St NW) at 5:15pm for brief meditation, a community sharing circle, and a couple chants followed by a 6:15pm candlelit procession to the park at 3rd and Elm Streets NW where another vigil for Tricia starts at 7pm. At the park feel free to share drawings, poems, plants, lotions, incense, words, skits, or any mementos that celebrate and honor Tricia.”
