WHEN: Saturday, May 20th at 10 AM – 12 PM
WHAT: Join your neighbors on Saturday, May 20th, to follow-up on April’s Earth Day event and continue our BACA beautification efforts with free compost (since the last batch didn’t arrive as expected) and clean-up tools loaned from DPW. Please let your neighbors know and invite a friend to help clean up your street or alley!
Plan on meeting at 10am at corner of 1st and P NW where the compost and DPW tool kit (5 rakes, 5 brooms, 2 shovels, and 20 trash bags) will be delivered. Feel free to bring your own supplies as well, and the recycling bins work well to take compost.
Trash drop-off/pick-up spots: 1st and P St NW, 1st and Q St NW, and 3rd and Q St NW. Trash bags and bundled debris that is dropped off by 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 20th, should be picked up by DPW the same day.
