The BACA Board would like to invite all residents to participate in a neighborhood walk-through with members of MPD’s Third District on Monday, August 19th at 6pm. At the July BACA meeting, residents expressed concern that there are a handful of problem spots causing the majority of the crime and safety issues in our neighborhood. Given the somewhat recent transition of our area to the Third District, residents suggested we take a walking tour of the neighborhood to point these spots out to MPD leadership.
It is important that we have a good showing of support from residents, so please plan to join on Monday, August 19th at 6pm. We will meet in front of Mount Sinai Baptist Church at Third and Q Streets NW and begin walking East on Q Street. We expect the walk will take less than an hour. In the even of inclement weather, we’ll reschedule.
