This is something I’d like to attend. Everyone I’ve talked to in our neighborhood said their tax assessment went down. However, mine went up!
Councilmember Phil Mendelson is holding five Town Hall meetings focusing on the District’s recently announced tax assessments. The workshops are designed to both educate residents on the tax assessment process as well as help taxpayers utilize the appeal process. You can find information on his web site here. They start March 16 through March 31. Would anyone like to go to one of these, to better understand this process?
