I think that this question warrants a new post of its own.
Following up on the announcement by UPO that its Comprehensive Treatment Center at 33 N Street NE would be closing — are there any * other * drug treatment facilities on the unit block of N Street NE?
I admit that I should know, but I don’t.
I suspect others in the community can readily answer my question.

I’m not sure of any other drug treatment facilities except for Addiction Prevention & Recovery at 1300 1st Street Northeast. That’s right around the corner, isn’t it?
APRA’s central intake facility is at 1300 1st on the N St side, APRA’s main offices are at 1300 1st, but there is no treatment being done there right now.
UPO did not close, they moved the treatment center to DC General campus, this serves people with Choice in Drug Treatment vouchers and also VA patients.
