The District has a monthly program for residents to recycle and dispose of old electronic equipment as well as household hazardous waste materials. See below:
The Department of Public Works accepts e-cycling materials, along with household hazardous waste this Saturday, March 5 at our Ft. Totten Transfer Station, 4900 John F. McCormack Rd., NE, 8 am to 3 pm. Please click on http://www.dpw.dc.gov for more information about this monthly service, which also includes free personal document shredding.
