NoMA Farmers Market

The NoMa Farmers Market, organized by the NoMa BID and Metro Green Markets, continues today at 1200 First Street, NE, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The market runs every Wednesday through October 26th, and offers locally-grown produce, baked goods, dairy and meats, as well as prepared items like sauces and salsas. Get the first crops of summer fruits and vegetables, including cherries, berries and more!

Each Wednesday at 4 p.m., stop by to sample a recipe concocted by a local chef. This week, stop by to watch Todd Gray of Equinox and Watershed fame. All vendors accept WIC and food stamps. To learn more about the farmers, visit www.nomabid.org/farmersmarket
