On June 30th, 2011, I attended a meeting held by Council Member Harry Thomas to organize a committee that will lead the efforts for the redistricting of the ANC boundaries in the 5th Ward. Community members are encouraged to join this task force. This task force is essential in the design of electing ANC representations and division of single member districts.
Below is an update from CM Thomas’ office. If you wish to join the committee, you may contact our ANC, Bradley Thomas at firstname.lastname@example.org or CM Thomas’ Chief of Staff, Awyana Chase at AChase@DCCOUNCIL.US.
Let the boundary discussions begin.
