All Souls (725 T Street, NW) – All Souls will be a tavern featuring a variety of craft (and mainstream) beers and wine. (ETA Winter 2013)

The American (1209-13 10th Street, NW, Rear [Blagden Alley]) – Former Capitol Hill serial restaurateur Xavier Cevera (Chesapeake Room, Hawk & Dove) set his sights on Shaw with a 70 seater wilth a 75-seat summer garden. (ETA: unknown)

Baby Wale (1224 9th Street, NW) – A casual eatery from Tom Power of Corduroy fame. (ETA August 2013)

Bank of America ATM (1845 7th Street, NW) – Automatic teller machine. (ETA Fall 2013)

Cambria Suites (1401 9th Street, NW) – As part of the catalytic CityMarket at O Project, Cambria Suites will be a 182 room limited service hotel with restaurant. (ETA Spring 2014)

Continental (1230 9th Street, NW) – Continental will be a restaurant featuring French and Italian cuisine and live music. (ETA unknown).

Dacha Beer Garden (1600 7th Street, NW) – Outdoor beer garden offering German beers, sausages, and pretzels. (ETA Fall 2013)

Dunya (801 Florida Avenue, NW) – Turkish restaurant with outdoor roof deck from the former owner of Shaw’s Tavern. (ETA Fall 2013)

Eat the Rich (1839 7th Street, NW) – An oyster bar from Derek Brown and Rappahannock Oyster Company’s Travis Croxton, Rappahannock is one of the top providers of Chesapeake Bay and Rappahannock River oysters to DC’s top restaurants and have a DC location at Union Market. (ETA Late Summer 2013)

El Roy (919 U Street, NW) -German beer garden from the owners of The Brixton, Marvin, etc., set up on a vacant lot with shipping containers. (ETA: Fall 2013).

FishNet (1819 7th Street, NW) – A fash casual restaurant from Ferhat Yalcin (former general manager at Corduroy) offering fish sandwiches, fish tacos, lobster rolls, anf fresh sides. FishNet has a resturant in College Park, MD and has been featured in Washingtonian magazine’s 50 Best Cheap Eats. (ETA WInter 2013)

Giant Food Store (1400 7th Street, NW) – As part of the catalytic CityMarket at O Project, a new, 71,000 squarefoot Giant grocery store will replace the former store on the site. A 54 seat cafe serving beer and wine is included. (ETA November 2013)

Hot Shoppes (900 block of 9th Street, NW) – Marriott will resurrect its legendary brand in the new Marriott Marquis hotel rising across from the convention center. (ETA May 2014)

I Ching (639 Florida Avenue, NW) – Tavern serving Thai and Aisan cuisine, with a summer garden. (ETA: unknown)

Ivy and Coney (1537 7th Street, NW) – New neighborhood sports bar from the team behind Kangaroo Boxing Club. (ETA October 2013)

La Colombe (924 N Street, NW, rear: Blagden Alley) – DC outpost of Chicago, NY and Philadelphia coffee house features food, retail goods and a unique blend of farm direct specialty coffees (ETA Fall 2013)

Mandalay (1501 9th Street, NW) – DC branch of Silver Spring Burmese restaurant featuring dishes not available anywhere in the U.S.! (ETA August 2013)

Marriott Marquis Convention Center Hotel (901 Massachusetts Avenue, NW) – 1,175 room, 49 suite hotel will provide an additional 100,000 square feet of meeting and ballroom space for the DC convention Center, to which it will be connected by an underground concourse. It will include additional retail, including a sports bar. (ETA May 1, 2014)

Right Proper Brewing Company (624 T Street, NW) – A new mciro brew pub featuring artisanal beers brewed on the premises and the barbeque that made Rockland’s famous. Rockland’s BBQ owner John Snedden and Thor Cheston, former operations director for Brasserie Beck are bringing this casual venue to Ellington Plaza, across the alley from the Howard Theatre. (ETA Fall 2013)

SiTea (1847 7th Street, NW) – Sunyatta Amen will bring her successful Takoma eclectic tea emporium to Shaw, with Vegan food and teas from around the word. (ETA Winter 2013)

Sprint Mobile (1835-37 7th Street, NW) – Mobile phone and accessories store. (ETA WInter 2013)

SwatchRoom (1527 9th Srreet, NW) – Commercial art gallery and art studio. (ETA September 2013)

Thally (1316 9th Street, NW) bistro from partners chef Ron Tanaka and Sherman Golden (ETA August 2013)

Thai-Ger (2020 9th Street, NW) – A Thai restaurant from Taw Vigsittaboot of Thai X-ing (ETA unknown)

Uprising Muffin Company (1817 7th Street, NW) – Bakery cafe specializing in a large assortment of freshly prepared muffins, coffee, espresso drinks, sandwiches and salads. (ETA Winter 2013)

Wanda’s on 7th (1849-51 7th Street, NW) – Wanda Henderson returns to 7th Street with a new salon offering expanded services in the same space she occupied before Progression Place’s development. (ETA September 2013)
