Love beer, live music and great food? NoMa Beer Fest is this Saturday, August 17! This free outdoor festival features a dozen beers, including specialty beers such as Heurich’s Lager (DC Brau) and Brimstone&Clover (Right Proper). All-local breweries include DC Brau, Chocolate City Brewing Company, District Chophouse, Capital City Brewing Company, Three Stars Brewing Company, The Brewer’s Art (Baltimore) and Right Proper Brewery (opening soon in Shaw). View the full beer selection from all seven breweries and the smattering delights from the food vendors at www.NoMaBeerFest.org! Vibe to music by Mission South, a DC-based Roots Rock/Blues band, DJ Grey Goon, and local R&B favorite Johnny Artis. Bring your A-game for corn hole, bocce, and bear pong (that is not a typo!) coached by your friends at DC Bocce League. For the kiddos, SCRAP-DC and CNU DC Chapter is organizing a chalk mural, face painting, magnet crafts, and sprinklers to beat the heat. Join the Washington Area Bicyclist Association for a Met Branch Trail ride and clean-up Saturday morning, then relax at NoMa Beer Fest. Follow @NoMaBID and #NoMaBeerFest for updates and free giveaways.
