Subject: [WARD5] Assault at SOME 71 O St NW
About 45 mins ago, a male assaulted a female client of the SOME feeding program. Originally though male stabbed the women. Swift response by MPD & EMS. Victim was located at 1st & Bates NW, along w/attacker. While/after the assault community calls were made to 911. Peep was arrested, with further being barred from SOME.
Great work by MPD, EMS & community working together. Also special acknowledgement to 911 dispatchers for their work getting info on attack out, & updating info as rec’d which assured the arrest of the Perl on the scene.

This must be the two people I heard shouting and arguing with one another as they passed my house. Wow. She was screaming at him pretty loudly, but sadly that isn’t an uncommon occurrence, so I made the mistake of ignoring it.
