From stormwater ponds to transformational, 3 million-square-foot projects, the District has nearly 50 economic development initiatives in various stages ongoing throughout the city. This week, the D.C. government unleashed a helpful website to keep up with the work.

The pipeline project data tracks every project — whether an active solicitation, awarded, in negotiation, under construction or completed. Easily sortable by ward, the database provides project names, addresses, status, selected developer, type of development and square footage per use, the city’s project manager, and estimated construction start and end dates.

There are currently six active solicitations— Capitol Vista (Second and H streets NW), MLK Gateway (1909-1913 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. SE), the Crummell School lot (1900 Gallaudet St. NE)the Franklin School(925 13th St. NW), Parcel 42 (1707 Seventh St. NW) and Truxton Circle (1520-1522 N. Capitol St. NW).

There are 14 projects under construction (West End fire station and library, Hine Junior High School, The Wharf, North Capitol Commons). And three projects are listed as complete: the 1100 block of H Street NE, the Fort Lincoln stormwater pond and the SeVerna Phase II at Northwest One.
