Subject: [MPD-5D] Assault with a brick
Members of the Fifth District were dispatched for an assault that occurred on the afternoon of August 17, 2015, in the 1400 block of North Capitol St NE
The on scene investigation revealed that after an argument between the suspect and the complainant, the suspect assaulted the complainant with a brick, causing injuries. The complainant was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The suspect was apprehended on the scene.
Thanks to the vigilance of an off duty police officer and the coordinated efforts of the 5th District patrol officers and Detectives, the suspect was quickly apprehended.
