1,140 Unit Residential Project Planned For NoMa

The massive residential developments just keep coming in DC.

A multi-phase residential project that will bring almost 1,150 residential units to NoMa has been proposed for a 6.7 acre site west of North Capitol Street NW. The planned unit development was filed with the city on Tuesday

The development proposed by the Sursum Corda Cooperative Association and Boston-based Winn Development Company will be built on a site bordered by First, M and L Street NW, west of North Capitol Street (map). The project will consist of five residential buildings totaling 1,142 units, and will be built over two to three phases. It will be located on the site of Sursum Corda, a 199-unit non-profit housing cooperative built in 1968.
