On October 1st at 6 pm, Think Local First DC is hosting its next installment of Developer’s Dinner on creativity.
The focus of our upcoming dinner will be on creativity and it will leave you feeling inspired! Our dinners foster an honest, open, welcoming environment for progressive conversation to thrive.

We commit to bringing the community together every day, and hope that you will join us in this important conversation. You will also have the opportunity to learn about bringing creativity to the city through social media, as one of our speakers, Morgan West, created the “ACreativeDC” hashtag and receive 56,000 mentions per month!

Join us for an evening of delicious food, engaging conversation, and a dining experience unlike any other!

This past Friday, September 18th, Think Local First hosted “The World We Want Wall’ event in Anacostia! It was a great opportunity for local citizens to share their thoughts, hopes, and dreams with the community. “The World We Want” is a global movement devoted to bringing reflection and expression to local communities. It inspired DC locals and became a great way to start off their weekends!

If you weren’t able to make it to the event, no worries! Think Local First hopes that you’ll want to get inspired by the wall’s contents in your travels! You can stop by the wall at 2004 Martin Luther King Jr Ave SE DC 20020 to take photos, tag us in your social media posts and use the hashtag #theworldwewant!

One of DC’s few music festivals held within District boundaries, All Things Go’s Fall Classic Festival, is turning into a ‘can’t miss’ event of the fall! This year, All Things Go is bringing an artist who has rightfully established himself as a household name, Kygo, to Union Market on October 10 from 12 pm – 11 pm. This is definitely not a festival you want to miss! The festival will also host curated food from award-winning Cher Erik Bruner-Yang of Maketto, Takorean, The Bespoke Kitchen, Dolcezza, and CrunkCakes.

To enter the contest, just click the headline link above and fill out the form. We’ll announce the winner next Friday, September 24th at 12 pm!

There’s also still tickets available!
