Homicide: Unit Block of M Street, Northwest
(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide which occurred in the Unit block of M Street, Northwest on Sunday, September 20, 2015, at approximately 8:18 pm.
Members of the First District responded to investigate the sounds of gunshots around the unit block of M Street, Northwest. They located an adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in the 1100 block of North Capitol Street, Northwest. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to an area hospital, where lifesaving efforts failed and he was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
An earlier release reported preliminary information that the offense had taken place in the 1100 Block of North Capitol Street, Northwest.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.

Unit Block of M Street, Northwest
(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide which occurred in the Unit block of M Street, Northwest on Sunday, September 20, 2015, at approximately 8:18 pm.
Members of the First District responded to investigate the sounds of gunshots around the unit block of M Street, Northwest. They located an adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in the 1100 block of North Capitol Street, Northwest. The decedent has been identified as 28 year-old Kuron Calleo, of Northeast DC.
