Persons of Interest Sought in an Armed Robbery (Gun): 1600 Block of 5th Street, Northwest (Washington, DC) –
The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in identifying two persons of interest in reference to an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense which occurred in the 1600 block of 5th Street, Northwest, on Thursday, September 22, 2016. At approximately 10:41 pm, two suspects approached the female victim, pointed a silver handgun at her and demanded her property. The woman handed over her purse and violin case. Both suspects fled eastbound in the north alley of the 500 block of Q Street, Northwest.

Anyone who has information regarding this case should call police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
