Arrests Made in Multiple Robbery Offenses

(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department announced several arrests in recent robbery cases in Washington, DC.

Fifth District:

  • On Tuesday, June 27, 2017, 27 year-old Marcquise Smith, of Northeast, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Fear) offense that occurred in the Unit block of P Street, Northeast.  CCN: 17-109-962
    • On Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at approximately 11:27 pm, the suspect approached the victims.  The suspect demanded the victims property as he postured in a manner as if he was armed with a handgun.  A victim complied, and the suspect obtained the victim’s keys.  The suspect fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle but was apprehended by responding officers.
