Call Summary:
North Capitol Main Street is putting our neighborhood on the map as an arts destination in the District. We’ve partnered with Main Streets across the city again this year to host Art All Night: Made In DC on Saturday, September 23 from 7 pm – 3 am.
Local businesses, community institutions, and public spaces will transform into pop-up galleries and performance spaces for an evening of art in all its forms. Art All Night events will take place in Dupont Circle, Shaw, Tenleytown, Congress Heights, H Street – and of course, North Capitol Street/ NOMA! And the best part? It’s all FREE!
We’re currently putting together a fabulous array of art installations and performances, so check back often for Art All Night news and updates. And if you are interested in showcasing your work as part of Art All Night, we’d love to hear from you. From fine artists, dancers, special performers, musicians, designers, fashionistas, architects, writers, comedians, improv, sculpture artists, food and drink artists and more are all invited to participate. I would like to have $1 dollar African/Artwork Dollar store at the event: I have a bunch of African Art willing to sell only for a $1 dollar also, handmade jewelry, hand made other stuff college unframed art work drawings, art supplies, fabrics, African movies, 2 for $1( learn African culture in these English language movies. All of Africa is not what you think as what the TV brings you). Everything is real quality only $1. We’ve enjoyed these things over the years but we are Trying to downsize. Please advise.
