NE Boundary Tunnel Block Meetings begin this week

 If you live or work near the R Street NW or the Florida Avenue NW Construction Staging Area, then please attend.

  • Tuesday, September 12, 2017, 6:00 PM — 7:00 PM, R Street NW Construction Staging Area
    • Location: Intersection of 6th Street and Rhode Island Avenue NW
  • Thursday, September 14, 2017, 6:00 PM — 7:00 PM, Florida Avenue NW Construction Staging Area
    • Location: Intersection of 3rd Street and Florida Avenue NW
WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND

At the Block Meetings, attendees will receive information that will help them envision what to expect during construction of the Northeast Boundary Tunnel (NEBT).
Discuss:
* the project schedule
* traffic and pedestrian impacts
* community engagement methods
* what we are building and why

The purpose of the meetings is to not only share information but to also learn local knowledge from attendees. Members of the Clean Rivers Engineering and Outreach Team will be on site to highlight the problem, the design solution provided by the NEBT, and the long-term benefits.

We look forward to meeting you at a Block Meeting!
