Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: Unit Block of O Street, Northwest

(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred in the Unit block of O Street, Northwest, on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.

At approximately 10:01 am, the suspect brandished a handgun and threatened to shoot the victim at the listed location. The suspect fled the scene. Responding officers apprehended the suspect. A handgun was recovered.

On Tuesday, January 9, 2018, 20-year-old Christopher Pierce, of Williamsport, MD, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
