Good Afternoon,
Today at 2:59 pm Fifth District Officers responded to a call for an assault in the rear of 42 Hannover Pl NW. Investigation determined that the offense was in fact a Robbery Force and Violence and that an adult male suspect approached the female complainant from behind in the alley. The suspect assaulted the complainant and stole four dollars in US Currency. The suspect fled on foot but was apprehended by MPD patrol units who had responded to the call. The suspect was identified and placed under arrest.
