Subject: [MPD-5D] Destruction of Property 

Good Evening, 

This afternoon Fifth District Officers responded for a call for sounds of gun shots in the Unit Block of O St NW and the intersection of North Capitol and O St NW. Reports from citizens advised that 5 to 6 shots were heard. Officers canvassing learned that one round had struck the front door of a business in the 1400 Block of North Capitol St NW. No injuries were reported to police. The case is currently being investigated by Fifth District Detectives.  Anyone with any information related to this offense are encouraged to contact MPD at 202-727-9099.
