Good Afternoon,
Earlier today officers responded to the 1300 block of North Capitol St NW for a call for sounds of gunshots. Responding officers did recover several spent casings in the block. A canvass of the area for victims or damaged property yielded negative results. Police presence in the area will be increased in the interim. Anyone with any information regarding this matter are urged to contact MPD at 202-727-9099.
