The Third District is currently investigating a shooting in the 200 block of Q Street NW. An adult male has been transported to an area hospital with a gunshot wounds to the lower body and the arm.
Motorists and pedestrians can expect road closures in the area.

Good evening. We received several calls beginning around 9:08pm tonight for the sounds of gunshots in various locations along the 3rd street corridor between Q and W streets. We have not located any crime scenes or victims other than the individual in the 200 block of Q street at this time. We believe that these calls may all be related to the same incident but are continuing to investigate.
