Hospitality unicorn Sonder expected to lease planned Truxton Circle apartment building

The planned 1324 North Capitol St. NW is expected to be leased, virtually in its entirety, by Sonder.

A West Coast hospitality company that leases, designs, furnishes and maintains blocks of apartments largely in urban settings, and books them like hotel rooms for varying lengths, appears to be landing in D.C.’s Truxton Circle neighborhood with its biggest Greater Washington property so far.

San Francisco-based Sonder has either leased, or is in late-stage talks to lease, the bulk of a 69-unit building planned for 1324 North Capitol St. NW. Sonder currently offers units in two smaller D.C. buildings, Callisto on Barracks Row and The Lamont in Park View.
