Arrest Made in Robbery of an Establishment (Gun):
Area of 3rd and P Street, Northwest
(Washington, DC)-Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District have announced an arrest has been made in a Robbery of an Establishment (Gun) offense. The offense occurred in the area of 3rd and P Street, Northwest, on Saturday, July 11, 2015, at approximately 2:14 pm.
Two subjects entered the convenience store and forced an employee onto the floor at gunpoint. The suspects gained access to the register and fled westbound on P Street Northwest with U.S Currency and personal property.
On Monday, January 11, 2016, pursuant to a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant, 21-year-old Deandre Cornell Thompson, of Southwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Robbery While Armed. The second suspect remains outstanding and the investigation is ongoing.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for an Armed Robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
