Time Sensitive: Info for Voting re 1520-1522 N. Capitol NW

Although the official public comment period has ended, DMPED wants to get official community input from the ANC before making a decision on the two proposals for the development of the lots at 1520-1522 N. Capitol St. NW (at the corner of Bates).

ANC Commissioner Thomas created a ballot to collect input from the community – both from the BACA meeting attendees, and at his next SMD meeting (Saturday, Feb. 13, 9:30-11:30 am at Dunbar High School). He will then present the results to the full ANC for consideration, which should be the third Tuesday of this month.

If you did not already submit your ballot at the BACA meeting tonight, you may submit your ballot by this Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, to either David Hall, davidhall.dc@gmail.com, 216 Q St NW; or Christa Fields: christasf@gmail.com, 61 P St NW. Thanks again to the three volunteers who will be tabulating the results this weekend! Here is the voting ballot again (the first page is fine, or just email us the pertinent info).

If you would like to submit comments directly to DMPED, you may email Tsega Bekele, Project Manager, at tsega.bekele@dc.gov. Please beware: we do not know the deadline for receipt of comments, other than that Mr. Bekele is waiting on input from the ANC….
