(Washington, DC) – The Metropolitan Police Department’s Narcotic Enforcement Unit announces recent arrests that have been made in cases in the District of Columbia.
Third District:
On Monday, July 8, 2019, members conducted an operation in the Unit block of Florida Avenue, Northwest. CCN: 19-119-289. The following people were arrested:
- 35 year-old Michael Bennett, of Southwest, DC, for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
- 47 year-old Kevin Banks, of Northwest, DC, for Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance and Distribution of a Controlled Substance.
On Monday, July 8, 2019, members conducted an operation in the 1500 block of North Capitol Street, Northwest. CCN: 19-119-288. The following people were arrested:
- 51 year-old Darwin Hall, of Northwest, DC, for Distribution of a Controlled Substance.
- 36 year-old Cornellius Ruffin, of Northwest, DC, for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Distribution of a Controlled Substance.
